Match Preview:
Mumbai will need six wins from their last seven games to guarantee themselves a playoffs spot and the same would be the case with Bangalore. Captain Rohit led from the front as they defeated the Chennai in their last game and they will be looking forward to making life miserable for an already out-of-sorts Bangalore bowling attack.
The Chinnaswamy stadium has been a hard ground to defend and home captain Kohli will be desperately hoping to get a chance to bat second on that wicket. His bowlers have let him down time and again and they have struggled to know how much is enough for their bowlers to defend.
Kohli has spoken of his team lacking the excitement and not being good enough on the field and with every match being a virtual knockout for them, intensity levels need to rise. Their death bowling will again be at the forefront and the only way out for them is to pick up plenty of wickets at the top. Mumbai have won each of the last five encounters between these two teams and one would not be surprised if it goes up by one.
